Good quality swab for on field use For those new to paintball, this is a swab intended for use on field to clear paintball breaks from your barrel. Your options to deal with a break in the barrel on field are to “shoot through” the break, or to swab out the barrel. Shooting through means to continue firing and hope subsequent balls clear out enough of the paint to prevent it from affecting the accuracy of your shots. This sometimes works well enough, but other times results in more breaks, more paint, and a marker that is difficult to use. Most players carry a field swab, like this one, to clean out occassional breaks and improve accuracy. I bought this to replace my last swab which had seen better days. It is good quality, easy to keep in a pocket, and does its job well. Empire is a trusted name in paintball, particularly with woodsball and scenario players, and generally makes good quality equipment. Recommended.

Camo I’ve owned many different paintball swabs, from dye, port, invert, spyder, tippmann…. All big box to little-known brands. They all perform the EXACT same, no matter what they say. It’s fleece, it soaks up paint, what more should it do? Dance? However, this swab is the only one in existence that comes in a camouflage Olive Drab, so an instant plus! Why spend $100s on camo equipment, gear, ect… when your brightly colored barrel swab/squeegee (again, no performance difference) gives it all away in a heartbeat?Spend the $5, get free shipping, and buy this swab. Case Closed.

Soft and Bendy Got this this match my OD rig, works like a charm and even fits snugly into the molle slots on my rig. I like the flexibility of the middle section as it allows me to pretty much bend it in half if i need to to make room for any other attachments.
